Refunds Of Income Tax Credited Directly To Your Account

For individuals the Australian Taxation Office has advised that from 1 July 2013 they will not send you a cheque if you are entitled to a refund. Any tax returns lodged after that date will require bank account details including the account name, the BSB and the account number. It is acceptable to include as your bank account one which is held in joint names or an accountant’s trust account.

We do not have a trust account and recommend your refund go to your own account.
